Zach was the service tech. Our system was not running as well as it should and we had another company (Eanes) tell us that 1) it was low on freon, 2) the... coils were leaking, 3) our system was low quality junk 4) we needed to replace the whole system for $10,000.00. Zach and QRC were a breath of fresh air. He assured us that it was NOT low on freon, NOT leaking and only had minor issues with airflow and a fan motor that might be running a bit slow. I had an HVAC emergency on a holiday and set up an appointment online. The house was over 80 degrees and my wife and I were worried about going days without AC... waiting for a technician. I have known Zach Watson (HVAC Zach) for a while and knew QRC was going to be my first call if anything went wrong with my system. I set up the appointment the night before at 10 with the live chat support who was very responsive and a real person! I was called the very next morning on the 4th of July from their dispatch and had a technician on site within 45 minutes. The service technician, also a Zach, was very personable and professional. Mr. Whittaker found the problem immediately (a snake crawled on my capacitor and had a bad time). He had the part on hand and had me back up and running in 20-30 minutes. We also set up for a maintenance plan that was reasonably priced which covers two yearly services and saved me over 30% on the total call for signing up. It would have been very easy for this call to have been up-charged or put on a premium rate due to the holiday and on-call nature of the service but it wasn’t. From beginning to end, the service I received from the company and from Zach Whittaker far exceeded my expectations and I couldn’t recommend them enough!read more
